Whenever a kind of object is created, Inform allows the pluralised name of the kind to be used to refer to such objects in typed commands. That's why creating `A coin is a kind of thing.` enables commands like ``TAKE THREE COINS`` to work: Inform takes the name `coin` and pluralises it as ``COINS``.
But some authors prefer not to have this feature, and to enable all plural nouns in commands by hand. For those authors, this use option is provided:
